We have been traveling the world going on our third year now and have had no loneliness whatsoever. We find bringing home movies along and lots of webcam free skype calls home helps keep us connected to family and friends at home while we roam. I do remember dealing with loneliness during my first extended trip to Europe when I was young and alone. Glad we have not had to deal with it on this trip. We find kind friends everywhere and meet others online, plus our connection to home and all our time together. Kidlet finds friends every where and every age....weather they speak the language or not. In todays world, I think it would be hard to feel lonely while traveling. Bring your family!! lol!
