		<description>Just as a side thought...this is great information, but the statement that &quot;travel insurance does not cover prudence&quot; isn&#039;t 100 percent correct.  Most travel insurance wouldn&#039;t cover cancelling for the reasons that you did, but some, like cancel for any reason policies, pretty much allow you to cancel with impunity for any old thing (including job instabilities, personal turmoil, etc).  Just something that may be worth looking into, for those who don&#039;t know that it&#039;s out there....</description>

Yes, it was a disappointing experience (inherent in any failed plan!) and yes there were some hard lessons learned, but my husband and I plan to take the trip when things smooth out a bit. And they will smooth out. I&#039;ll keep you posted and once we go and return, I&#039;ll write another cheerier article about all the wonders we experienced AND all the things that went &quot;right&quot; (which I&#039;m confident will be numerous!). - Tammie</description>
