Who is this ebook for?

How to Monetize Your Blog is ideal for newcomers to the world of blogging. It shows you how to set up, promote and monetize a travel blog. If acronyms like SEO and CPM mean nothing to you, this ebook is for you.

On the other hand, if you’re already well acquainted with things like affiliate marketing, Google AdSense and search engine optimisation, a lot of the material covered will seem quite familiar.

One thing I particularly appreciate about Matt is that he doesn’t pretend that travel blogging is some kind of get-rich-quick scheme. It’s not. Matt’s very right when he says you shouldn’t expect to make much money – if any at all – in your first six months as a travel blogger. But if you’re in this for the long haul, applying the tricks and tips here will help you establish a travel blog that can earn you a decent income.

My chief disappointment with the ebook was its design, which isn’t particularly conducive to good readability. But in terms of delivering on what it promises, How to Monetize Your Blog is well worth the $37 Matt is charging.
